Much like the Tomb Raider games, you can mock Lara's run, jump, and grab move with a Spyro twist. On a ledge, you can charge, jump, and glide and almost never have to hover. When you charge off the cliff and jump off the very edge, you get a little boost into the air, thus allowing you to glide farther without hovering.

There is a large creek in the level that the little pandas have to let down the draw bridge. On the opposite side of the three little pandas are some cracks in the wall. Crash them to find four extra lives.

Hint: Lost Fleet: Skateboard race:
Use the following trick to help win the Rhynoc Skateboard Race. Go to the part where there are the two thin land chunks very close together. There is one crab on each chunk. The ledge over to the right is where you need to go. Turn backwards and scale the side of the wall. Then, press X and hold on. You will fly over the top of the mountain and land back where Hunter is standing. When you go past him, you will notice the lap counter will have moved up one lap. This is an easy way to get the skill point for breaking the race record.

Hint: Midnight Mountain: Dragon egg:
Go to Midnight Mountain, then go to the Sparx sign. Turn left and jump up a step. Turn right and jump up another step. Go straight and stop. Do a head bash. You will fall down and see the egg in front of you.

Hint: Sunny Villa: Dragon egg:
Go to the whirlwind in Sunny Villa. You will see two platforms in the distance. Glide and hover to the first one, then glide to the second one. You will see a lake near a waterfall. Glide to that to get a dragon egg.

Hint: Dragon egg from Moneybags:
When you see Moneybags on the bridge, talk to him. He will say that he found and egg and will sell it, but not to you. When he runs away, charge him around the circle he is running. When you are close to him, either keep running and run into him or flame him and charge again. Either way will make him lose some of his gems which you can get. Keep doing this and eventually he will stop and say "I didn't know dragons were that fast". He will give you the egg when he is finished talking.

Hint: Speedway rounds: Hunter locations:
Note: These work best after you beat the Time Trial. All of Hunter' Challenges have to do with Space Cows and Sheep Saucers.

To find Hunter in Mushroom Speedway, look for him in the biggest mushroom near the spiders

To find Hunter in Country Speedway, find him in the big cottage.

To find Hunter in Honey Speedway, follow the trail of beehives; he will be on a ledge overlooking the Honey River.

To find Hunter in Harbor Speedway turn left at the beginning of the round and fly towards the lighthouse.

Hint: Portal to Sorceress:
If you collect 100 dragon eggs, Bianca will activate a portal to the Sorceress.

Hint: Defeating the first Boss:
Charge him into the lava.

Hint: Sparx worlds:
Try to enter and complete the Sparx worlds in each new land (four in total) as soon as possible. As you complete them, you gain new skills that are very handy when completing the rest of the game in general. For example, upon completing one Sparx world, you may gain the ability to find treasure in any level buy pressing L1 + L2 + R1 + R2. Sparx then points in the direction of any remaining treasure on that level, allowing you to finish the game faster (and eventually open the bonus world). Hint: Skateboarding points:

Go to the monster ramp. Go down it, but do not press X once you get to the blue part. When you are in the air, press Left, Right, X. Continue pressing until you get to the ground. After this trick, you should have acquired 4,900 points.

Half pipe leap: When on the monster ramp, turn around and go through the narrow passage. Press X a few times for good air. You should reach the other side and have finished with 1,000 extra points.

Triple Towers: Go on the blue ramp. Do not press X, and make a sharp turn to the orange ramp. Press X and jump on three narrow islands. Once you get to the third, you will get 1,000 points and skateboard off it to the ground.

Dr.Shemp and Toasty: Go to the mega ramp as you would for the mega pointer. However this time, do a roll on either side four times. You should get 1,000 points.

Orange Crush and Big Gulp: Go to the largest ramp, press X, do four or five spins on either side. You should get 2,000 points for the jump. It can be done twice, left and right combined, for a total of 4,000 points.

When you start at the pillars, make a sharp turn to the first orange ramp, do a back flip (50 points), and go to the next ramp. Press X to get air, and land on the beginning of the mega ramp. Make an impossible turn to your left and go through the cave to the half-pipe. Get to the end of the cave, jump, press X a couple of times, and land (1,000 points). Go to the blue ramp beside the circle one, go up it (do not press X), make a turn right, and go to the orange ramp. Press X two times, jump to the first, jump to the second, and jump to the third. You will be rewarded when you reach the last island (1,000 points). Go the way you did at the start of the game, but this time, go up the ramp, then down the hill. When you get to the blue base, press X and spin left four to five times (2,000 points). Go up the ramp, go down again, and spin right four to five times (2,000 points). Then, go up the ramp yet again, and go down a final time. This time(do not press X), fly off the end, then press X. Hold Down/Left + X until you approach the ground (4,900 points). You will do a series of twisted limes or lemons. You should have over 10,000 points at this time. You will have time remaining which can be used for more tricks.

Hint: Gnasty Gnorc skateboard trick:
While skateboarding, hold Triangle, do two front flips, and at the of the second one, do a side roll. You should do a move called the Gnasty Gnorc. This can be combined with other tricks off the ski jump at Enchanted Towers. You may get 2,000 to 6,000 points.

Glitch: Swim through air:
Go to a level that has lava on the bottom, such as Molten Crater. Jump down to the lava and pause game play immediately when you hit it. You will know that you have done correctly if you are using a Dual Shock controller and it rumbles. This may take a few attempts. On the pause screen, go to "Exit Level" and then swim up. Keep on swimming, and when you get to the top you should be swimming through air. Note: This may glitch your saved game if you choose to save after doing this trick.
